THALAMOS, an exploration of Art Deco silhouettes represented in five ritualistic cast brass forms.
Symbolising intimacy, secrecy, and sanctuary, and drawing on the Greek word 'thalamus' - meaning an inner chamber often containing sacred treasures - the collection centres around the theme of the inner sanctum; of intimate, daily rituals and personal sanctuary.
Includes:
THALAMOS CENSER is an incense holder with a central well, designed to secure stick incense and catch falling ash.
THALAMOS BLOOM is a vase featuring a removable internal flower frog, with apertures of varying sizes to support and arrange stems.
THALAMOS EMBER is an ashtray with a gently curved rest to cradle sage, palo santo, or a roll-up, and a stepped well to collect ash.
THALAMOS KEEPSAKE is a trinket box for safeguarding precious treasures. Composed of two compartments that separate into three parts, with interiors lined in forest-green flocking for protection.
THALAMOS ALTAR is a platter for the presentation of food or cherished objects. Intended for display, and not as a dining surface.
